OneLine is a journal app. The shortest possible version of this policy: your lines belong to you. We don't read them. We don't sell them. We don't show them to anyone.
What is on your device
- The text of every line you write.
- Any photos you attach to a line (premium feature).
- Your theme choice and reminder time, if you set one.
This data lives in an on-device SQLite database. It's backed up by iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) under the standard system app-data backup. We never see it.
What our servers see
- OneLine has no sign-in. Your account is an anonymous ID the app generates on your device the first time you open it. We never receive your name, your email, or any Apple or Google identity. That same ID is the recovery code you use to move your lines to another device, which is why the app tells you to treat it like a password.
- If you turn on cloud sync, the text of your lines is sent to our Cloudflare D1 database, scoped to your account. No one else can read it.
- If you subscribe to OneLine Premium, RevenueCat tells us your subscription is active. We never see your credit card.
What we never collect
- Streak counts. There is no streak counter.
- Mood scores. There is no mood picker.
- Analytics on the content of your lines.
- Location, contacts, microphone, calendar, or health data.
- Third-party advertising identifiers. We have no ads.
Third parties
- Apple / Google — for subscriptions and payments. Their privacy policies apply to what they receive.
- RevenueCat — verifies your subscription status on our behalf.
- Cloudflare — hosts our database and Worker. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We do not use Sentry, PostHog, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, or any other observability tool that would forward your content to a third party.
Deleting your data
Two separate actions live in Settings. Both are irreversible.
- Delete account and cloud data — erases your entry rows, any photos, and your user record from our servers. Your old recovery code stops working and the app issues a fresh one.
- Delete every line on this device — clears the on-device database. It does not touch the cloud copy.
Run both to remove every copy we can reach. Uninstalling the app also removes the device copy, but not the cloud copy.
If you no longer have the app, email hassano19988991@gmail.com with your recovery code and we will delete the account it identifies within 48 hours. Your account is anonymous, so the recovery code is the only thing that ties it to you: without it we have no way to find your rows, and no way to confirm they are yours.
Children
OneLine is rated 4+ but not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
